The 9th Tsinghua–Peking University Low-Carbon Campus Design Friendly Competition, along with an exchange exhibition of course outcomes from Tsinghua University’s “Micro Garden Construction” and Peking University’s “Sustainable Campus Practice” and “Community-Engaged Research” programs, was recently held at the iGarden of Tsinghua University and the College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at Peking University.

Participating faculty members and students

Forming multidisciplinary teams, more than 50 undergraduate students from both universities presented 18 innovative projects developed as part of the program.

The Tsinghua University team carried out practical exploration in the form of group collaboration, helping people stimulate creativity and environmental awareness. The Peking University team focused on sustainable campus development and called on young people to actively practice environmental protection concepts.

The event featured project displays developed by undergraduate students from two universities.
